Visitors to Canada


Nowadays, people like to travel to other countries in the summer or holidays. The number of visitors changes from year to year. This essay will describe the number of visitors to Canada from Spain and Japan.

The Spanish visitors who visited Canada in 1996 was almost 300K and its very low and it increased till 1999. Then there was a little drop that decreased the visitors to 570 in 2000 but after one year the visitors returned to increase and reached 590K visitors in 2001. Then numbers of visitors increased till 2004 and the number of visitors was 770K. In 2005, the visitors decreased again and also in 2006 it decreased until they reached 600K. On the other hand, the Japanese’s started with very high number of visitors and it was 800K and it stayed almost the same in the next 5 years with a very low difference in the number of visitors. Suddenly, there was a very big drop so it decreased to 580K visitors in 2002. In the next 2 years it stayed low until 2004 that it raised the number of visitors to 520K and it reached 680 in 2006.

In conclusion, the number of visitors is changing from year to year and that depend on many factors. Overall, the visitors from Spain + Japan seem to have stabilized at approximately 600,000 year.
